Introducing our new General Manager: David Lane

We are pleased to announce David Lane has joined our executive team as General Manager.

In his new role, David will be applying his more than 30 years’ global leadership experience and technology expertise to lead Team Blue’s enhancement of services.

David has a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in driving transformational change for both public and private companies, including six multi-national companies and three start-ups.

Executive General Manager Gavin Gomes said David will be a great asset to the team and help the group drive growth with their ‘Blue Ocean’ vision.

“David’s passion for transformation and breadth of experience only further strengthens our leadership team – enabling us to intensify our innovation efforts and move at greater speed towards our end goal and Blue Ocean vision: to be the largest technology service provider in the ANZ region for SMBs and mid-market companies,” said Gavin.

“Working across corporates and start-up companies, David understands the technology industry, and his career has encompassed a variety of roles from software engineer to CEO. With this strong background, he can live and breathe the innovative spirit that is CodeBlue.”

Commenting about his new role David said he is delighted to join the team and lead the accelerated growth strategy.

Prior to joining CodeBlue, David was most recently the Chief Commercial Officer of the Red Flag Group, recently acquired by London based listed business intelligence firm Refinitiv).

Over the last 30 years David has held senior executive and Vice President roles with global blue-chip companies including Gartner, International SOS, Curam Software (now IBM), Sun Microsystems (now Oracle) and CA Technologies.

David is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an MBA and BSc in Information Technology from the University of Colorado.
