FUJIFILM CodeBlue Australia is ISO27001 certified

What this means to you and your security

We are pleased to announce that FUJIFILM CodeBlue Australia (CodeBlue) is ISO 27001 certified. The internationally recognised standard was secured at the end of March 2022, formally certifying CodeBlue’s policies, processes and controls for data security and information protection.

Also known as IEC 27001 – Information Technology, this certification demonstrates a high-level of security standards and safeguards are in place to protect vital information, company assets and company data. As part of ISO 27001 certification, companies must also prove how potential damages and security breaches are mitigated as well as how potential security threats are tracked down and eliminated.

CEO David Lane said while a long certification process, it was important for FUJIFILM CodeBlue to be ISO 27001 certified in order to formally prove its security practices were at a high standard.

“Data is the backbone of business today, and as a managed service provider we are the gatekeeper for our customer’s data. That’s why it’s essential our customers are protected by the highest security and data standards possible,” said Mr Lane.

“Now ISO 27001 certified, our customers can be comforted knowing their company data is protected in line with international practices and will be managed with integrity every step of the way. We’ll also undergo regular reviews to maintain our certification, ensuring our customers data continues to be protected by the highest and most up-to-date security practices possible.”

By securing this certification, CodeBlue also aligns with its sister FUJIFILM Business Innovation companies for information security practices, ensuring a high-level of security is maintained across the business groups.
